It also has a diagram of the Mediterranean Diet pyramid and explains how many servings of each type of food you are allowed. It also talks about the benefits of the Mediterranean lifestyle, and explains how active you need to be to help achieve your goals of changing your eating habits. In addition to explaining the diet, the book also offers a lot of recipes that follow the diet. I think the recipes are easy enough, and I can't wait to try them all. I probably will purchase additional books later on in the diet that have more complex recipes, but since I'm just starting out this is just right.
